BioWave Filters

Description

For ponds and pools with organic matter, our BioWave filters are high quality, energy efficient and high performing filters that contain larger media.allowing for more flow while still providing quality biological filtration. They are designed to preserve the delicate useful bacteria during backwash and to provide a large surface ar ea for the bacteria to live and flourish. The BioWaves utilize a backwashing technique using a blower system that agitates the water to produce “”tumbling”” during backwash. The blower pushes air into the filter causing the media to mix and tumble. This results in cleaning bioflocks that are attached to each piece while preserving beneficial bacteria within the filter. Great for general filtering purposes.
